Case Study
Digitization of the project financing journey for SMEs and entrepreneurs

Client is a Moroccan start-up that was using a digital platform to help SMEs and entrepreneurs finance their projects.

The client wants to showcase the new concept to raise funds and speed up its development.

Objective

The objective of our project was to revamp the existing platform and make it more user-friendly and as users found it very difficult to navigate and preferred to use traditional ways (phone, emails, etc) to seek financing from the company.

Results

Fully agile 6 weeks project with a team of 1 product expert, 1 UI/UX designer, 1 tech lead and 1 business analyst. We followed three steps to achieve our goal:

Product concept & protoype
  • We identified the pain points and customers preferences to build a user centric product.
  • We designed the user journey for the different personas (UX) and used these insight to design the new platform (UI)
Product backlog

we designed the product roadmap organized by EPICs and we filled the product backlog with user stories to allow the development team to start without any dependency on the product..

Impact
  • The new concept has shed the light on how the start-up could better serve its customers (improved services, better user experience for the customers and partners, marketing & sales strategy), etc)
  • The start-up used the new concept to seek funds from investors to launch the developments
